Review of Amami TowerDuring our recent family vacation, we chose Amami Tower due to its proximity to the ferry terminal—a vital convenience for our early morning journey to Okinawa. Though the hotel presents itself as a standard establishment with small rooms and limited facilities, it served our needs adequately, particularly given the inclement weather that prevented our preferred camping options. We appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, which allowed us to unwind after a day of exploration. We took part in the Endless Blue Amamioshima-Day Tour, a fantastic experience that delighted my children and provided an authentic glimpse of the local marine life. An afternoon spent at the Tanaka Isson Historic House also offered us a peek into the island's rich culture—an engaging and educational experience for the entire family. While the hotel may lack some modern amenities—such as multiple elevators or larger accommodations—its strategic location made it a practical choice. Amami Tower fulfils the basic requirements for families seeking a functional stay with easy access to local attractions.
